Social Media Training - ActionAid

Social Media Matters team conducted a one day training ‘Young Urban Women - platform leaders national workshop’ on issues of ‘Social Media for Social change - its usage, challenges and scope for campaign’ with the community leaders of Action Aid India on 19th March 2019. Today, Social Media plays an integral role in showcasing the work; therefore the prime focus of the training was to build capacities of the on ground partners for the same.


The group consisted of 25 female participants from various states to learn and understand the best use of social media technologies. Trainers emphasized upon the safety and security aspects of the tools and provided tips for creating online campaigns. It was a great opportunity given by the organization to learn and unlearn from the community leaders.
