Social Media Training - Tezpur University

On 12th February, 2019 Mr Vikram Singh and Ms Pratishtha Arora conducted Social Media Workshop with scholars from pan India in Tezpur University. The one week workshop was organized by the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism along with Teaching Learning Centre on ‘Decoding Social Media: Dynamics, Uses and Abuses.’ As the title suggests the aim of the workshop was to generate awareness among the aspiring scholars on the use of Social Media platforms and the inclusivity of technology in their program. The dynamic group found the workshop interesting as it was inclusive of activities which were fun and intertwined with topics discussed.


Trainers highlighted upon the safety and security mechanisms of social media platforms and why it is important to be updated with the features of these mediums. The workshop had a positive feedback and was found interesting by all the participants.
